BBJGB Affiliation

AFFILIATION TO THE BRITISH BUJUTSU GOVERNING BODY

Since its creation as a governing body the Junsei Ryu Bujutsu Renmei has sought to offer affiliation to groups outside of the Junsei Ryu family who share our philosophy and training ideals.

These member groups are in no way controlled by the Junsei Ryu, but have the benefit of our knowledge, advice and friendship; as well as the opportunity to be part of the Junsei Ryu Family and not just another martial arts organisation.

Shortly after the creation of the BBJGB we were contacted by a like-minded martial artist from a Koryu club who was concerned as to how we would try to "Govern" Bujutsu within Great Britain. It was then that we realised the term "Governing Body" was somewhat of a misnomer, as in truth we had no interest or intention to "Govern" any other groups aside from our own.

We at the Junsei Ryu consider ourselves more as "Facilitators" than "Governers" offering the hand of friendship and giving guidance to those who seek it.

Groups and individuals seeking affiliation will be individually vetted by the Junsei Ryu senior council members for suitability as members of our organisation.

In accordance to our "BBJGB Code Of Conduct" it is our policy to recognise all grades held by member groups  and offers verification certificates for those who wish to receive them. Not seeking to make money out of like minded martial artists the administration costs for this service is only £5 per certificate (including a frame and postage and packaging). Please use the "Contact Us" page for further details.
