Junsei Ryu Grade
Recognition Details:
Aside from the obvious background
and ability checks, any applicants contacting the Junsei Ryu Bujutsu Renmei with regards to affiliation and grade verification
will be compared against the following recomended criteria.

8 Years in training (Minimum 3 years post Shodan) Minimum age 21

Yondan – 4th Degree Black Belt 17

Godan
– 5th Degree Black Belt

Rokudan

Shichidan –

Years in training
Junsei Ryu Group Recognition Details:
Aside from the aforementioned background and ability checks, any applicants contacting
the Junsei Ryu Bujutsu Renmei with regards to Group Affiliation will need adhere to the following criteria.
1)
All groups must supply a written copy of their current teaching syllabus.
2) All Sensei involved
in the teaching of children must supply a copy of a current CRB check (Criminal Records Bureau)
3)
All groups must supply a copy of their current insurance policy including public liability cover.
4)
All groups must implement a clear pricing policy covering training, grading, membership and insurance details (NO HIDDEN CHARGES
WILL BE ACCEPTED)
5) All groups must adhere to the traditional principles of Bujutsu training
and avoid the application of sporting techniques and methodology.
6) All groups must offer instruction
in two or more forms of Bukijutsu (Weapons Art) in order to be classified as Bujutsu schools, and as such gain entry into
the Junsei Ryu Bujutsu Renmei.
7) Although modern No-Gi training within member groups is permitted,
in the interests of tradition the use of a set Keikogi (Training Uniform) is recommended.
8) All
member groups will aim to provide at least one senior level instructor to attend and offer instruction at a Junsei Ryu Bujutsu
Renmei training course at least once a year. This of course applies to Junsei Ryu Bujutsu Renmei senior instructors, who will
also aim to provide their services at the training courses of affiliated groups at least once a year.
9)
All members groups will undergo a 12 month probationary period, before full affiliation may be granted. If during
this time period there are doubts as to the actions or intentions of an individual, that individual (or organisation)
shall immediately be stripped of all affiliation.
