The Junsei Ryu Bujutsu Renmei 淳精流武術連盟
is a school of Gendai Bujutsu (Martial Arts Founded In The Modern Era) specialising in the application of combative Bujutsu
in its many varied forms.
Junsei Ryu
is an organisation born out of the necessity for a more traditional methodology that is currently and increasingly being missed
and ignored by modern martial arts systems in the place of unrealistic, grappling and sport orientated versions of the arts.
Although the majority influence over our style comes from the Japanese methods, we fully accept that all
martial arts must undergo continual evolution in order to maintain their effectiveness. As such some modern fighting methods
have been incorporated into the system in order to keep it relevant to the modern day combatant.

Because the Junsei Ryu system is neither taught nor practiced
as a sport, we don’t enter competition fights or teach sporting versions of our martial arts. Our martial arts techniques
are all taught in their pure undiluted form.
It is the ultimate objective of Junsei to preserve,
protect and promote the disappearing cultural, philosophical, traditional and combative methods of Bujutsu; to which end the
organisation strives to establish support, development, friendship, mutual cooperation, growth, education, and promotion of
traditional and combat Bujutsu throughout the UK and beyond.
As a national entity Junsei Ryu can also recognize and register any number of Bujutsu styles
and families, as well as establishing martial arts seminars and training camps throughout Britain.
As well as supporting the international Jujutsu community,
Junsei Ryu also recognizes, supports and registers international Bujutsu teachers and students by validating their skills,
and knowledge based on the International Recognition System of Membership and Rank Validation, Recognition and Promotion.
